![[image]](http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/7884/ger1dd4.png) Something sounded like rain bouncing down rocks into giants puddles...But different...And he didn't feel wet or anything.. With a soft groan he began to stir, his eyes opening slowly to the sight of sunlight glittering over the ripples of what appeared to be a small creek as it gurgled by.
Woozily he inched forwards on his belly until his nose hovered a few inches above the waters surface and with a weary sigh he dropped his muzzle into the liquid, the chill immediately waking him but leaving a dull, aching throb behind his eyes. The fact that he was trying to remember what happened wasn't helping either. Strange smell, pain, blackness, and now this. This...beautiful place.
He pulled himself to his feet, his balance surprisingly holding up. How long had he been asleep? Who knew. He looked at his reflection in the moving stream, the light blue eyes staring back at him seeming both strange and familiar. The water's current stretched his height a little and if his eyes had been different...he would have reflected Xio, his twin. His head dipped to lap at the water and break the reflection, his ears erect on his head and swiveling like radars, but he knew he wouldn't find his sibling. He couldn't even smell him, much less hear him.
As the sun sprinkled through the leaves of the trees surrounding the creek's bank and dappled his pelt to warm him after the chill of his drink, his face lifted towards the heavens as if to worship the heat-giving source, his mouth opening to a soft, black-lined 'O' as he sent his sad song into the breeze. As the notes faded he lowered his face, his ears now flattened in worry. He could only hope his sibling had woken up in a place as beautiful as he had.

Eclipse lay on a rock not to far away from the creek. The sun beat down on her, and the rock. The heat was absorbed into the rock giving her a heating pad. She just loved to sun bath on a beautiful day like this. The sounds of birds, and other animals calling was soothing to her auds, but then she heard a different song near by. It wasn’t a bird’s song at all, in fact it was a wolf. It’s call was filled with sorrow. Eclipse hesitantly got up, and leaped off the warm boulder.
She began padding toward the call of the wolf. She wondered the stranger was in any danger or distress. Oh well I guess she would find out soon. The call sounded like it came from the creek, luckily she wasn’t to far from it. Moments later, and she finally reached the location of the howl. She looked around for the one who let out the call. She then look further up the creek to see a figure of a wolf. Without hesitation she trotted up to the stranger.
She slowed down as she got close to him. She stopped a good distance away from him. Though she was close enough to have a good conversation. He didn’t look like he was in any danger, but his song sounded like he was a bit down. “Hello there. Is there anything wrong?” Eclipse asked curiously. She then sat down on her haunches, and looked at the brute with her bright yellow, and her bright red orb.

![[image]](http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/7884/ger1dd4.png) After the echoes of his song had finally faded into nothingness, their sad notes clinging invisibly to the nature around him, the voice was a startling surprise. He had been so consumed in worry that he hadn't even hear the creature approach until it was too late and she was near and speaking with him. ...She?
He spun on his paws quickly, his soft blue eyes wide with curiosity as he looked the wolf up and down again and again. It was a female! She smelled wonderful. He'd never smelled such a delicate musk before! And yet here she was in front of him, plain as day, and he was speechless, forgetting even that he was now separated from his only kin.
"I..I...Uhm.." He was so eloquent. What a fantastic first impression. His face heated all the way up to his ears and he lowered his head, his eyes averting shyly. He'd never met a girl before. He'd never met /anyone/ before, actually. Besides Xionac. Xio... There it was. He remembered. "I...I don't know where I am..Or how I got here... And I've lost my brother, ma'am. Have you seen a wolf identical to me but with yellow eyes?" He managed quietly.
His knees felt all weak and his stomach was jittery. He'd never been in this type of situation before. Was he saying too much? Too little? Too fast? Too slow? Too quiet? Too loud? He felt like his heart was about to implode the way it had tripled in speed. And the way she smelled was so new that he couldn't stop breathing quickly and silently through his nose. Oh dear. He was surely going to make a fool out of himself...

Eclipse looked at the brute curiously he seemed surprised to see her. Maybe he hadn’t spoken to a wolf in awhile? Then she listened as the wolf hesitated his words. “I…I…Uhm..” he said. Eclipse slightly tilted her head to the side. “I…I don’t know where I am...Or how I got here… And I’ve lost my brother ma’am. Have you seen a wolf identical to me but with yellow eyes?” She heard him say quietly. The brute’s head was low, and he seemed to be breathing quickly. He seemed nervous indeed, but she couldn’t tell if the brute was apart of the Kingdom. By his words she supposed he just got here.
“I’m afraid not many wolves here know how they ended up here on this land either. Not even I know how I got here. And I’m afraid I have not seen any other wolf identical to you, I’m sorry.” She said to the wolf. He probably missed his brother, but she wouldn’t know she never had siblings. Only a mother. “Do…you miss him? Your brother I mean.” She said curiously. Perhaps she could help him find his brother.
ooc; I'm so sorry I took so long to reply >.<

![[image]](http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/7884/ger1dd4.png) He nodded at her words, a little saddened by the fact that not even she could tell him how he'd arrived. And especially the fact that she hadn't seen Xionac. He feared for him. What if he was hurt? Or scared? He almost choked on a laugh, instead clearing his throat as he glanced away from the female. Xio had never been afraid of anything. It was silly to assume such. He was sure that his brother was alive and well somewhere else on the island. Maybe he was even looking for /him/. That would be nice. His baby-blues riveted back to the fae as he responded.
"No need to be sorry, Ma'am. And yes, I do miss Xionac -- that's my brother's name -- but I don't need to worry about him. He was always the stronger of the two of us. If anything he's probably worried about me."
He grinned childishly at her. Already three but having never really interacted with other left him childish and shy, and his face heated as he admit his weakness compared to his sibling. They were twins but with the maturity difference between them he always felt younger. Why was there any need to be all grown up when his kin was still protecting him, though? Well...he was sure he'd eventually figure things out. But for now...
"'Scuse me ma'am, I hope I haven't seemed rude, but I seem to have forgotten to give you my name. Please call me Gericho -- or Geri if you prefer."
His smile widened a little and he gave her another shy little glance. It was still so strange and new to him to be around a different canine than Xio, but he had to admit to himself that he didn't mind too much. This lady was rather kind.
