“I’m..much better actually…Thanks to you.”

She smiled, eyes sparkling with happiness, feeling accomplished. "I'm glad i did." she said, wagging her tail. "Nobody deserves to be unhappy, you don't deserve to be unhappy."

After a long moment in which she looked up at him fondly, she spoke again, her voice a little more serious. "Why... why are you called Forgotten?"

She watched him reply with her light brown eyes wide, and as he spoke, her face seemed to fall. Tsuki averted her eyes, looking down at her paws. She felt guilty for bringing up the subject in the first place.

"I'm sorry." she sputtered. The fem had cheered him up only to bring him back down again. She couldn't imagine her very own name being a reminder of a brutal past. Tsu then did something very impulsive in an attempt to make him feel better. As the sun drifted across the sky, warming her fur and making her slightly giddy, she leaned across the short space between them and nuzzled into the black fur on his neck, her ears back and eyes shut.

She didn't move except to nuzzle a little deeper into his fur and breathe in, but wheh he spoke, she got excited and pulled back to look at him, grinning. With a chuckle she said, "How about Remembered?" She felt intrusive, to be replacing his name like that. But.. she supposed it would just be a nickname for him, one only she would use.

"...if you never forget me, then that dreadful name will be very meaningless wouldn’t it?” At these words she wagged her tail, her smile widening. Tsuki felt like she had broken through some type of wall that had been separating them. His eyes reflected the orange setting sun, which was becoming a sliver of light on the green horizon. The fem wasn't sure where she would sleep tonight, but she didn't want to think about it- because she would rather stay here with him.

Tsuki looked around them at the gorgeous moonlit landscape, then at him. She twirled and laid back on the ground next to him. Her stomach felt strangely fluttery as she turned her head to glance at him, before looking up at the sky.

It was dotted with glowing stars, surrounding a bright full moon that threw light down on the two wolves. The fem's chest rose with a pleasant sigh as she relaxed, and spoke in a calm, contented voice. "It's gorgeous, isn't it?" she breathed, eyes wide in wonder.
