The land was like any other spot she had visited before in her four years. Bare, quiet, and full of nothing. Quite the way she liked it to be frank. After her brother, she had found momentary solace in being alone, reserved, and quite the bitchy one. Her brother's words rang clearly throughout her head..'you will never belong in this family...never'. It was true. She never would. That had been two years ago. It was the last moments she had shared with Caspian, the last words he had spoken to her. In truth...she had watched him and 'spied' upon him in a subtle way. He had found love with a pretty dainty female that carried a harsh toungue and she had doubled over in laughter when she eventually met her. The two of them were exactly the opposites yet in mutual love. Would she ever be the same?
Swift limbs carried her over the sodden ground. The sun could just barely be seen from it's hding spot behind the rolling hills. For the night it would slumber, then return when the moon went down. She enjoyed the moon better and was quite glad it would soon be dark. A few trees scattered the landscape, but it was eerily disturbing. Trees did not belong here..in this barren place they called a border. The simple word 'border' meant absolutely nothing ot her whatsoever. If it was to be titled a border....then there should at least be wolves here. This place was forgotten, a lost memory as her brother would say. Her brother cherished memories....while she despised them. Memories held you back.....what was the use of hanging on to something that had already taken its course. Second...they made you weak. Like your own weapons..harnished in order to be the downfall of yourself....
Arkaya pulled her shoudlers up and stopped walking. A male's scent visible hung in the air and she turned her head, her orbs scanning the land that lay around her in waiting. The direction soon came to her and if she could not see him..then she would find him....and she started off at a slow lope in his direction.

The brute did not move from her eye eight, until she was forced to look the other way. Squinting for long periods of time often made her eyes water and cringe back into their voidless pits. Memories danced across her vision and she quickly tried to put them back behind her vale. Once in hiding...they would pain her no more. Her brother was wrong about one thing...she had memories...she just didn't want to relive them no matter what the cost may be.
Her family was all alike...and their would be no changing that. That's who they were and if she was different...then she waas no member of their family. She remebered Riot....Caspian's son...as she spied upon them one late evening. It appeared the pup was just as troublesome as she had been in her early years. Genes were often passed down.......
It appeared the male knew she was there...yet made no apparent move to attack or move towards her. He just kept walking..like there was some prize at the end of the pathway he took. How strange......She did notice though that the males occasionally glanced in her direction, as if keeping a watchful eye upon his company. She chuckled softly and stopped walking, the breeze whipping against her gray coat at a steady pace. She bristled her shoudlers and set off again at a walk.....but this time heading towards the brute.....
